Terms of Service

Last updated: August 16, 2026

These Terms govern your use of the Nova Page extension, website, account features, and Premium purchase.

1. Agreement and operator

Nova Page is an independent software product created and operated by Yevhenii Horovyi, based in Ukraine (“Nova Page,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By installing, accessing, purchasing, or using Nova Page, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Nova Page.

2. The service

Nova Page replaces Chrome's new-tab page with a customizable dashboard containing groups, shortcuts, widgets, browser-tool links, and appearance controls. The service includes a Free level and may include a paid Premium level.

Dashboard content is primarily stored locally. Nova Page does not provide cloud synchronization for groups, layouts, shortcuts, notes, tasks, images, or other widget content. Export and import are the supported way to preserve or move a dashboard setup.

3. License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Nova Page for lawful personal or internal business purposes. Nova Page is licensed, not sold, and no ownership rights are transferred to you.

4. Free and Premium access

The Free level provides core dashboard, shortcut, widget, and customization features without requiring a Nova Page account. Features included in each level may evolve as the product develops, provided that we do not intentionally misrepresent a purchase.

Nova Page Premium is offered at a base price of $9.99 USD as a one-time purchase. Paddle shows the final total before you confirm the purchase.

Premium is associated with a Nova Page account and is intended for the individual purchaser. Premium is available when you sign in to that account. You may not resell, share, or commercially distribute access credentials.

Promotions, discounts, beta access, or evaluation periods may be offered separately. If offered, their duration, eligibility, payment requirements, and end conditions will be disclosed before you accept them.

5. Accounts

You do not need an account for Free features. An account is required to purchase, verify, or restore Premium access. You are responsible for providing accurate information, protecting your sign-in credentials, and notifying us of suspected unauthorized use.

We may restrict an account where reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, credential sharing, security threats, payment abuse, or material violations of these Terms. We will not use account restrictions to remove valid consumer rights.

6. Payment provider

Purchases are processed by Paddle, which acts as the Merchant of Record and seller for the transaction. Paddle handles payment collection, applicable sales taxes, receipts, and payment-method processing under its own buyer terms and privacy notice.

Premium access is activated only after a successful purchase is verified through the payment and entitlement systems. A browser redirect, screenshot, or client-side message alone is not proof of payment.

7. Refunds

Refund eligibility is determined under the Paddle Refund Policy, the Paddle Buyer Terms, and any mandatory consumer rights that apply to the buyer. Refund requests must be submitted to Paddle through the buyer's receipt or paddle.net. Nova Page does not send funds directly to buyers. When Paddle refunds or reverses a purchase, the corresponding Premium entitlement may be removed.

8. Your content and backups

You retain responsibility for the links, notes, tasks, images, flashcards, and other content you add. You confirm that you have the right to use that content and that it does not violate law or the rights of others.

You are responsible for maintaining backups. Removing the extension, clearing browser data, resetting Nova Page, importing a backup, device failure, browser actions, or software changes may result in data loss. Because dashboard content is not synchronized to Nova Page servers, we generally cannot recover it.

9. Permissions and third-party services

Nova Page uses required and optional Chrome permissions to provide local storage, display adaptation, bookmark import, open-tab widgets, and weather localization. You can deny optional permissions, but the related feature may not work.

Nova Page may connect to or open third-party services such as weather providers, favicon services, search engines, Firebase, Paddle, Netlify, Unsplash, and websites you select. We do not control their availability, content, security, or policies. Your use of those services may be governed by separate terms.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use Nova Page for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful activity;
  • interfere with the operation or security of Nova Page or related services;
  • attempt unauthorized access to systems, accounts, purchases, or data;
  • circumvent payment, entitlement, or reasonable device-limit controls;
  • distribute malware or infringe the rights of others; or
  • misrepresent your relationship with Nova Page or its developer.

11. Password generator and browser tools

The password generator and browser-tool shortcuts are convenience features. We do not guarantee that a generated password will meet every service's requirements or protect an account from every threat. You are responsible for storing credentials securely and enabling appropriate security protections.

12. Intellectual property

Nova Page, including its software, design, branding, and original content, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Third-party names, icons, trademarks, and content remain the property of their respective owners. These Terms do not grant permission to use Nova Page branding outside your ordinary use of the product.

13. Availability and changes

We aim to keep Nova Page useful and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every browser version, permanent support for a third-party service, or that every feature will remain unchanged. Updates distributed through the Chrome Web Store may modify functionality or security requirements.

14. Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nova Page is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, or security.

15. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nova Page and its developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from use of Nova Page or a third-party service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

16. Termination

You may stop using Nova Page at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend online account functionality where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, abuse prevention, payment reversal, or material violation of these Terms. Termination does not remove obligations or rights that accrued before termination.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country of residence remain unaffected.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when Nova Page, applicable law, or our business model changes. The date above shows the latest revision. Material changes affecting an account or paid feature will receive any additional notice required by law.
